Okay, So you want to get a gift that has a dual purpose of making you laugh and is somewhat filled with useful stuff this is a great gift. Keep in mind the Knife, Lamp, Hammer, ax are really small. Basically, you will be laughing really hard. The best part is that the Flashlight has bright light, the Axe is on a multitool with a Hammer with great functions. There are two compasses that work, but you may want to get a Military compass to align with mountains and a map with proper azimuth. The other tools come in handy with the medical bag and heat blanket. The tent well be a paint unless you use the string or have 550 cord of your own and some post. The tent seems nice but given the American is either Obese or Has large muscles, I am somewhere in the middle you won't fit in it. Remember this is a bag just for staying put overnight and providing some temporary shelter until you can dig a fox hole big enough and surround it with something to keep you have hidden in case you are in a weird civil war position in the woods or being chased by the Cartel. Though you may need to hide the reflective part of the tent. Now most likely in a disaster situation like a flood or Massive Earthquake. The only reason you would leave a huge Urban environment outside civil unrest is due to lack of food, resources and immediate dangers such as fire from natural gas lines and down power lines or you are displaced from a flood or hurricane/ tornado.

It came with quite literally everything pictured after I took inventory. Some of the tools in the kit aren't the BEST quality but for the specific use of the kit and the price, Id say everything worked well. The mini axe/hammer duo is quite small, to be expected, and the axe isnt SUPER sharp but again, it worked well. Great product for the price point and a great gift for someone starting out on a camping journey!

It's a good starter disaster kit. I don't mind the size of the bag or the quality of the contents inside. I just needed something to get me started and I'll continue to add my own things to it and get a larger size bag later. And the price was great for everything you're getting.

Really happy with this kit! This is a really big set and has everything that I can think of that we would need in an emergency. Fabulous for our “bug out” supplies. It even has a tent! It has 250 pieces total which is pretty incredible. The crossbody bag is really heavy duty tactical quality too.
