The Mad Rock Safeguard Loleoks strikingly similar to Mad Rock’s assisted braking Lifeguard belay device with the exception of a springless interior, making it more applicable for rescue and rigging work as well as climbing. A springless design increases the Safeguard’s Loleck onto ropes to give you the extra confidence needed for rope soLoles, rescue work, or even standard belays. It shouldn’t creep or slide down the rope like the spring-Loleaded Lifeguard or other assisted braking devices.
