I bought this tent so that my partner and I could car camp together. I loved everything about it. She thought it was too small. I returned and bought something bigger. The newer one was indeed bigger but it was of very poor quality. The zipper to the door would get stuck and I couldn’t get out. The bendable poles splintered as I threaded them through the top of the tent. It attached with an octopus of straps and tethers that I could not make sense of. Every brand of tent that was bigger had this same problem. None of the larger tents had the four straps with a simple hook.
This tent has four easy straps that easily hook to the tires or anywhere else on my vehicle where I wished to attach them. I could easily unhook the tent and drive away to do whatever I want. It was a bit of a learning curve to back up and reattach the tent, but a backup camera made it so it’s not too bad. And honestly, if you don’t get it just right, you can easily drag the tent over to where it needs to go.
So I returned the larger tent and bought this one again. My partner will just have to learn how to accept that we can’t have everything we want. We have to compromise on some things.

We have used this tent twice. Once attached and once as a stand alone. Have had no problems even in a pretty heavy rain Setup was easy. Even better the second time 😁

The instructions for how to set this up are not very clear. One of the tabs that is supposed to be used to hook & loop /fasten around one of the support poles is only half there. It only had the hook side, no loop side, so it can’t be used. We had a run of bad weather so we only got to try setting it up for the first time yesterday and now it’s too late to return it. The stakes they gave us aren’t much good. We had to buy good ones from Harbor Freight and we didn’t get enough cords for all the stakes we needed to tie down for support. It’s supposed to be able to stand alone or attach to the back of your vehicle, but without more reinforcements, it could easily be blown over in a strong wind if it were not attached to your vehicle. I feel like there should have been tabs with grommets sewn into the centers of each side on the outside of the tent in addition to the ones on each corner. The poles that form an X when threaded through the pocket / channels on top seemed to struggle to fully support the top of the tent. Needless to say, we will have to rig up some alternate support solutions if we are going to be able to use this as additional space while van camping or buy a different one that is much sturdier. Too bad because I was really looking for to using this. I like the dimensions and the colors. Another suggestion is to offer a QR code link with a detailed video on how to setup each specific model you sell. The sewn in directions, although a good idea, just aren’t detailed enough. I’m sure glad we tried this setup at home instead of waiting until we got to the campgrounds.

I love this thing. I bought a different brand that was recommended before this one, and I just couldn't set it up by myself. It was only two poles, so I thought that would be easier. However, the poles were so long, I couldn't reach the top.
This one is so easy! It literally takes like 15 minutes to setup . When I go camping with my 6 year old son, he's ready to play. So, I want something quick and easy. I'm not sure about the rain /storm quality, but for everything else I love this tent. I love all the windows and the large door. It's a winner in my book, plus the price is great!

I went camping with the tenr for the first time this weekend. I had previously put it up and it was very simple by myself until I got to the rain fly. As others have mentioned it’s very simple for one person to put up the tent. But it really takes two people or a little extra effort to put the rain fly. However, a rain storm came through and either drizzled or had heavy rains for one day. While there was heavy rain, there was some water leakage into the tent flooring. Later I discovered the leaking was a result of water accumulation from where the SUV connected underneath the rear bumper. I’m need to look into it and see if I had connected the tent to the car incorrectly or if this is a design problem. In the reviews I read before I purchased this water leakage was never mentioned. So, I may not have attached the tent correctly to my car.

The product arrived broken. One of the plastic clips on the strap that connects the tent to the car was broken. Also, after one night of use with a little bit of wind, the bottom corner strap that get staked in completely ripped off in one of the corners. Would not recommend this product. The quality is not there for the price that you pay

This tent is perfect for 2 people, quite spacey, very easy to set up and fit perfectly around my Honda hrv. It poured rain and the tent did not leak. There are Doors on both sides which were very convent as well. I would highly recommend.

I’m very happy with this tent. It fits our car perfectly, but it can also be set up without the car. We’ve been caught in the rain several times, and it has performed amazingly well—it doesn’t leak at all. I highly recommend it!

Purchased this as my old family tent leaked bad. Very easy for 1 person to set up (I needed a stool as I'm short) & it fit my 2025 Mazda CX-50 beautifully. Good amount of room considering I will put my mattress in the car itself. Looks very well constructed, will know when I go to use it as I did a trial setup in my driveway. I'd say 2 adults & maybe 2 small children would fit comfortably.
