I got these to use inside my tote bag- which is inside my pannier , in the hopes that I wouldn’t have to carry a giant dry bag to work every day . Not everything needed to stay dry but I wanted something in case of a surprise rain shower to save my electronics mostly. That surprise rain shower came in buckets . I was only in it for about 20 minutes. When I arrived home I immediately started removing the non-bag covered stuff to dry it and noticed that my laptop was looking wet. I took it out of the bag and it was soaked. Luckily it survived after getting a little rice-staycation. I had two other bags from this set and they did not leak and none of the items in them got wet. The water seemed to come in somewhere around the bottom seam but I couldn’t see any obvious holes . It’s a good price for the set and they are easy to use but you might want to try getting the bags wet with like a piece of paper inside to make sure they aren’t going to leak.

    There’s nothing extraordinary about these waterproof bags but they sure are handy. The plastic is heavy enough to be durable without being overkill. The openings are secure, and the selection of different sizes covers most common uses. The best feature is they are priced right!
    I used a couple of these on a trip to hold documents and maps. They worked perfectly. They probably will not hold up for years, but they will certainly last a few weeks of heavy use. You could spend more but why?

    Single seal on top of bags, not reliable water proofing. Good customer service

    Bag seems of good quality, but there's a single "zip-lock" on it.
    Tried it with a blue tooth speaker in the pool. It floats, but it leaked.
    Fortunately, I put the speaker in a store-brand zip-lock bag that remained waterproof.

    Not sure I'd use these for anything other than rain protection.

    I recently took a trip the Boundary Waters Canoe Are and Wilderness of Minnesota, including 4 nights of camping and 40 miles of canoeing, and lots of chances for important items to become wet.
    The Heeta bags did well at what they were made for. I was able to roll important clothing items into the larger bags, as well as keep lighters, toilet paper, and some smaller items separate in the smaller bags.
    The larger bags with clothing items held up well and will probably make it on some future trips with me where they are necessary. However, the smaller bags, which had items that need to be more readily available did not hold up as well. Most likely a product of being opened and closed more often. Also, there is potential that I filled them a bit too much and that contributed to them giving out.
    Overall, a good product for the price, very much a easily replaceable item if needed, and as I said, they certainly got the job done.

    Waterproof and inexpensive bags

    I bought a second set of these bags because they are 100% waterproof. I used one of the bags, from the first set, on a kayaking trip in the ocean. Our kayak was soaked in sea water due to the waves, the Heeta bag was stored in the back of the kayak and it was immersed in sea water for several hours. All its contents, our wallets & phones, were completely dry. I recommended this bag and that you need to follow instructions on how to close the bags. I also bought a Heeta fanny bag and worn it to snorkel, my phone was completely dry.
