It's pretty good quality for beginners. Wish instructions would be included. I almost returned it until I read someone else's review. Make sure you pull on it until it clicks theres a hidden stopper that clicks or pops out and locks it into place. You won't see it until it's locked or if you know about it already 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ It's light weight and easy to carry. Both my children use them.

When putting it together, if you lock it, it still slides causing it to come apart like folding it, like putting it away. Locking it is useless. By trying to tighten it the lock piece pushing down breaks.

I like it a lot better than my previous stick. It's a lot lighter. It's a little bit difficult to pull the top part because I don't have a lot of strength it my hands. Other than that, it's great!

watch video when you place return pull very hard on top portion when fully assembled two people lock button will pop out of tube and lock all in place or use a vice to hold then pull till button clicks

I ordered this trekking pole for my mother, who is an avid walker and loves to go on hikes whenever the weather allows. For years, she would just scour the woods for a sturdy stick to use, so I thought it was high time she had a proper piece of equipment. She absolutely loves the upgrade; she says it provides excellent stability on uneven terrain and is much lighter than the heavy branches she used to drag around. The grip is comfortable, and the height is perfect for her.
However, there is one significant drawback that prevents this from being a perfect five-star product for us. The mechanism to lock the pole into place requires a surprising amount of force to "click" the final piece into the groove. My mother is almost seventy years old, and she simply does not have the hand strength to assemble and disassemble it on her own. Because of this, she just leaves it fully assembled all the time, which defeats the purpose of it being collapsible. It’s a wonderful pole once set up, but if you have weaker grip strength or arthritis, the assembly might be a struggle.
