    I'm writing this review a few years after purchasing this harness for my grandson to go rappelling. We've rappelled on this harness a number of times in the years since as well as used it for a tether point on him while walking on mountainous trails. We've gotten it down and dirty and beat it up. He's hung off the side of 50' cliffs in it. The material is solid and durable. The metal clips show no sign of wear and are also solid and durable. The only minor annoyance is that the strap tails are obnoxiously long, which could create a hazard if they were to get caught on something. I recommend purchasing this.

    Any error that would lead to an accident in this harness would be human error, the adult who's putting it on the child's error. Make sure you understand how tight and how exactly to wear this harness before a life is involved. It has to be up over the hip bones and stay there in the event of flipping upside down with all the weight hanging to pull someone out of it. Too tight is bad too. Take your time and have someone double check you.

    Great fit for small climbers.

    We ordered a couple of these because we had a kindergarten group coming to our climbing wall. We wanted to make sure we had something to fit our tiniest climbers. These have been great. The multi color makes it easier for the kids to see where they need to step in. I also like that you don't need to double back, which saves us time. In our regular season, we do groups of 15-20 at a time and less time messing with harnesses means more time to climb. Hope to eventually replace all our harnesses with these.
    Only thing I struggled with is that they are a little stiff but I'm sure that will improve after a couple seasons of breaking them in.

    Comfortable fit on multiple users. Easy to get on and off, and easy to instruct kids to put it on by themselves. Stitching is very well done. We've had children/youth around 110 lbs using this with no issue, but it easily tightens down to work for a small four or five year old – say in the 35 to 40 lb range.
