Great cooler. I can confirm that the 52 quart/49 L classic cooler from Coleman can keep the ice for more than 3.5 days! I placed four large Tupperware with frozen water in them into the cooler. The top container melted fastest and was completely melted by 90 hours. However, the three other containers below the top container were not fully melted by 90 hours. I have included a photos taken at 24, 48 and at almost 72 hours. At nearly 72 hours the top container was 90% melted. The 2nd was 40% melted. The 3rd was 35% melted. The 4th and bottom one was 50% melted (not shown). Love the handles for carrying. Love the drain I opened and closed the drain at the very beginning before using the cooler,and when there was water built-up in the cooler, it did not leak. At nearly 200 pounds I can sit on the cooler with no problems. As others have said, the lid hinge causes the lid to close. It will not stay open when opened. I have something that I put in the space next to the hinge that keeps the lid open until I’m done working in it, but I wish it would just stay open when I open it until I’m ready to close it. This isn’t my first Coleman so I was already aware of this.

Super spacious and keeps food cool for a long time! I love the color and material since it is easy to clean and maintain looking new. Ive taken this camping, on long 7h road trips and to the beach. Tye handles make it easy for 1 or 2 people to carry, depending on the weight.

Works great. Perfect size for what I needed. I filled the cooler up to the top with ice and 3 bottles of water to test it out and the picture here is after 1 week exactly. I was draining the water every day at the same time, and the cooler was left in my car for one day, and then the rest of the time it was placed in a location where it got direct sunlight for half the day and shade for the other half of the day and the average high temperature was 70 to 75. Obviously this wasn't performed in the dead of summer so it's not the peak performance of the cooler but tells me what I need to know and might set the stage for anyone wanting some user experience. I would recommend this product based on function as well as price paid.

This is a pretty large cooler and it gives us a lot of flexibility. When we clean out or fridge or freezer, it’s the perfect place to keep all the food cool. We also take it on our camping trips and it is more than adequate for a long weekend full of food and drinks. It’s robust and has the Coleman name behind it. The only thing I’ll mention is that the lid doesn’t stay up. It feels like it could have hinged a little more to avoid this. It’s not a problem though and I would still give it 5 stars. Recommended.

Love this cooler, I got the 70 quart because of the size I needed. The handles are sturdy and big and easy to carry. The lid comes off without having to fight with it. Like the thickness and well made construction. I like the blue color. Very satisfied with this purchase by Coleman.
