Took this on a moto camping trip up to Lincoln national forest in New Mexico temps got down to the mid 20s with a windchill at 8,500 feet to spite my tent not venting and causing me to wake up wet from condensation I was still warm enough to be somewhat comfortable I was no longer toasty like I was at 50-40 degrees but I was plenty warm to keep me alive if you need a little something extra bring a down blanket or stuff some hand warmers in your pants but honestly get a better bag if you want to camp in temps that low we did not expect to but the bag kept me comfortable enough and alive even when it got soaked on the outside in sub 30 temps I also never got wet at all inside of it. For the price would buy again and I would say it truly has a 15 degree survival rating but remember you will be alive but not comfortable

    Bought this as I needed something quick… temp fell to 35 and rainy and this held up great. Even with the condensation building in the tent… this kept me warm and dry

    I ordered the orange bag and they sent me a blue one. The idea was not getting shot by hunters while sleeping in a hammock. Luckily the orange hammock I ordered came orange. I'll be taking this sleeping bag up into the mountains in october, so I will come back and let you know how warm it was or not and what the tempratures got down to.

    It came in a loose fitting bag that doesnt compress the bag at all and looks nothing like the tightly sealed bag in the photos.

    The photos also show the foot of the bag is narrow and this bag isnt, its square and wide like a normal sleeping bag. Which is fine I guess, more foot room..

    I'll be back oct 19th with a full review. Hopefully I dont freeze to death because of false advertising 🙄

    Update:

    So I made the trip into the mountains, it rained the whole time and all the waterproof clothing I bought through amazon failed. By the time I had to stop hiking for the night I was soaked to the bone. Sloshing in my boots and everything. I set up a tarp between two trees in the rain, set up a tree hammock and then put this sleeping bag in it. I had to strip off all my clothing and climb in this bag for the night. It was litterally the only dry thing I had because I wrapped it in plastic before hiking. I slept through the night and for the most part was fine, not warm but not cold. It got down to about 35-40 degrees over night. It was a little thin, the areas where my body weighed the most in the hammock were the coldest areas, but I was a little wet when I got in the bag, over all it did what I hoped it would do. I will use this bag again next time.

    Great bag for wet and damp environments. Best one in my past 7-year camping experience. I've taken this out a few times and it works like a champ! I even got toasty on a few 15° overnight trips. It performs as expected and the synthetic material dries fast. I LOVED the color and how compact it could get, it fit in the bottom of my 65L trekking bag no problem. I personally prefer this to a super expensive down bag that gets ruined by snow/condensation.

    This sleeping bag is like a hidden gem for backpackers who don't want to shell out massive amounts of money for gear. I'm super happy with this sleeping bag, and I like it so much more than I was expecting to for the price. I will definitely be keeping this and loving it! For the price, you can't buy anything better.

    This sleeping bag is surprisingly warmer than I expected. I just used it in the Lake Arrowhead camping trip and it holds the warmth better than I thought in the night. Although it's slightly heavier than down material sleeping bag, the price is way much better and it functions about the same as the down ones. Plus the water repellent 210T polyester shell gives me the pace of mind to camp in the raining situation. Also, I like the bright orange color that I will be more visible in dark night (so people won't step on me when they go to restroom in the dark). Thumb up for this product!

    Not Warm In 40ish Degree F Weather

    The assertion that one would survive in this bag in 14 Degree F weather is bizarrely inaccurate and misleading to the point of false advertising. It is also claimed in the text that the lower end of the comfort range is 32 degrees F. Not unless one is inside another sleeping bag! Even a quality liner wouldn't help this bag approach the wild claims made in it's advertisement. This bag doesn't have the loft necessary to protect against cold air temperatures by retaining body heat. I tried it on a closed cell mat on a cot inside a tent and changed to my 0 Degree F down bag at 45 degrees F. The insulation in this bag is the matted type found in upholstery. It can't be separated and fluffed up so doesn't provide loft. This bag would be useful only as a summer bag at lower latitudes and altitudes if one is careful with the zipper. There is no zipper stop at the lower end so there's nothing to keep the zipper from becoming separated. The last thing anyone camping would want to have to do is try and re-thread a separated zipper in the cold in the middle of the night. The zipper will also snag the bag material if not slow and careful when zipping up or down. That creates its own set of problems. The only thing I like about this bag is the color (orange). The material arrived stained around the outside pocket built into the sleeping bag. Overall, this bag is a poor design. At $45 it is a bit less than I expected and I never believed it would keep me warm down to freezing temperatures and neither should you. A bag liner wouldn't even help this attain it's ridiculously misleading advertised comfort range. If using the zipper VERY carefully, this makes an OK summer bag.

    Although it is a good sleeping bag for the price it is way to thin to have a -7 rating the pick is deceiving and would only do for summer months only VERY THIN theres no way you would live if it was a cold night , nice summer only bag ,no way its for extreme tempatures, if i could have found a reason i would return for a refund
